Dear Jaguar Family,
The Jackson Jaguar Science Olympiad Team had a long day at Ocoee High School. The students worked together as a team and brought Jackson Middle School our highest finish. The team competed against 28 other Middle Schools. The top 6 teams receive an automatic bid to compete in the State competition at UCF on March 30th. Jackson Middle School came in 6th place and will be bringing home a trophy to be presented on Tuesday afterschool to administration. The following students received individual medals:
Circuit Lab: 2nd place (Ved Patel & Abigail David)
Crime Buster: 2nd place (Sahil Patel & Shyam Patel)
Dynamic Planet: 2nd place (Ved Patel & Shyam Patel)
Elastic Launched Glider: 3rd place (Sahil Patel & Ansh Shah)
Experimental Design: 1st place (Sahil Patel, Ansh Shah & Nadia Khan)
Road Scholar: 2nd place (Ansh Shah & Nadia Khan)
Thermodynamics: 5th place (Siya Patel & Nadia Khan)
Write It Do It: 2nd place (Abigail David & Cindy Doan)
